When All Else Fails Ask Mimi

A woman came into the booth at the Big E today and told me a really touching story about her Mom. Years ago she had bought her Mother a When All Else Fails ask Mimi plaque, since her Mom was called Mimi by her grandchildren.

Her Mom loved the plaque so much that when she passed away not long ago they placed the plaque with her Mom when they buried her.

It is such an honor to find that my small ceramic plaques can mean so much to people.

Fun and Friends as the days get shorter

I love how the long, warm summer days bring everyone outdoors for barbecues, neighborhood baseball games, ice cream cones, and lots of sports.  This is a time when friends, family, and fun definitely take top priority.  Mark has been playing tennis at least three times a week and manages to throw in a game of golf every once in a while.

I ride my bike with friends in the evening on the old railroad bed that is across the street from the shop.  We have been riding there for years and it is great to share these summer days with friends.

The days are just starting to get noticeably shorter, but we are still finding plenty of time to be outside enjoying the Northeast Kingdom.

Food in the Fall

No matter what else is going on, we always seem to have new and exciting happenings when it comes to food.  We are getting ready to move into fall, which means that everyone’s menu’s and mindsets are starting to change.  Yves is always giving us new ideas and food is always something that gets everyone interested!  With his expert advice we have all been coming up with some fun, new dishes.
